Data in this datasets is extracted from the SI section of the paper titled "Two-dimensional materials from high-throughput computational exfoliation of experimentally known compounds" by Marzari et al. It contains 258 two-dimensional crystal structures and their properties calculated at the DFT-PBE level. These compounds are promising candidates for next-generation electronic and optoelectronic applications, and can be easily exfoliated from their parent compounds.
